Project Lead

We are currently looking for a Project Lead to join our growing team in Hamburg. The role will ideally be performed full-time, but part-time models can be discussed.

As a Planeteers Project Lead you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Lead complex EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects end-to-end, from project kick-off through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and into stable operation
• Take full ownership of project delivery with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers/partners and key internal and external stakeholders
• Plan, coordinate, and steer a multidisciplinary project team
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, safety, and permitting requirements in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Drive structured stakeholder engagement, including authorities, customers, suppliers, certification bodies, and local communities
• Ensure proper project documentation, reporting, and lessons learned across the full project lifecycle

What do you bring to the Planeteers team?

• You have minimum 8 years of experience in project management within EPC, plant engineering, industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects
• You have a strong technical background (preferably engineering (e.g. chemical, process, mechanical, or similar)), enabling confident discussions with technical teams and customers
• You have proven experience managing multidisciplinary projects end to end with hands-on experience using project management methodologies and tools
• You understand regulatory, permitting, and compliance requirements and processes in industrial projects
• You benefit from strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• You show a strong hands-on mentality with self-organized & autonomous working style
• You are willing to travel occasionally to project sites (within the DACH region or northern Europe)
• You speak fluent English; fluent German is a big plus
